SERVE TRIPS
SERVE WITH US
Serve trips provide a chance for students to own their faith and join God’s mission by going into different communities and looking for/meeting other’s physical and spiritual needs, inspiring and equipping the next generation to live out their faith with purpose!
SERVE PHILLY
What - Experience and serve the Philly community during our “Serve Philly 25” trip. We will be partnering with an organization called Productive Lives, where we'll serve food, work with the community, and spread the life-changing message of the gospel.
When - June 12-15, 2025
Where - Productive Lives, 3058 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134
Why - Create an opportunity for students to grow, learn, and be equipped to do missions work wherever they are called to.
Cost - $575 (We will help you raise all of it!)
SERVE LANGHORNE
What - Serve Langhorne is a fun, challenging and impactful mission trip for middle schoolers. Our team will spend the weekend at Cairn University hearing from speakers, worshiping together, learning how to share the Gospel using the wordless book, then our students will get to use their training and share the Gospel with kids after spending the day with them!
When - May 16-18, 2025
Where - Cairn University, 200 Manor Ave, Langhorne, PA 19047
Why - We want this trip to be a great learning experience for students. From raising support and learning to communicate about their trip, to preparing for and executing the trip, our students will learn what it looks like to be in the mission field, and ultimately share Jesus with people who don’t yet know him!
Cost - $300 (We will help you raise all of it!)
WHY SERVE?
Our SERVE trips provide a hands-on learning experience for students to see what SERVE trips are all about. It’s a chance for students to own their faith and join God’s mission by going into different communities and looking for/meeting other’s physical and spiritual needs.
For students, these eye opening Serve Trips are about seeing beyond their daily lives and understanding how God can use them for His kingdom. Students aren't just told what missions work looks like; they're shown, step by step, through hands-on training that shows them exactly what it takes to be on mission.
The why behind our SERVE trips is simple: to inspire and equip the next generation to live out their faith with purpose. To show them that their belief in Jesus can take shape in acts of service that resonate in the hearts of those they help. It’s about nurturing a sense of responsibility, personal growth, and instilling a lifelong commitment to serving others for the sake of the Gospel
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our goal is to make this Serve Trip cost-free for students and their parents. All funds will be raised by the student by sending out support letters. Calvary Leaders will assist every student in writing and sending their support letters.
-
It is important to continue to follow-up with those you sent letters to in order to see if they received your letter and are considering supporting you. A “good faith” effort into fundraising is all that is required. Leadership will handle any situation where funds are not fully raised on a case-by-case basis.
-
Pick-up and drop-off will be at Calvary Church, Souderton Campus. Exact date/times vary on the mission trip, but this information will be included in the confirmation email when you are accepted. All transportation to and from each mission site is provided.
-
Safety is our first priority, and while nothing is guaranteed, Calvary Students and our mission hosts will take every precaution they can to keep our teams safe.
-
Your child will be in a gender-specific cabin/room with other Calvary students and leaders. Your child will need to bring a pillow and sleeping bag.
-
Students will not be allowed to have electronic devices during the mission trips. Leaders will have their phones available if students need to communicate with their parents, or vice-versa.
-
Please bring all medications in a ziploc bag with the child’s name written on it. We recommend packing just what they will need, not the whole bottle. The leader will dispense the medication. We will provide acetaminophen as needed if parents have given approval.
