Facility Assistants (male or female) – 21 needed

• Help guests navigate their way around the facility.
• Assigned to specific locations considered to be crucial intersections.
• Stationary positions, not tour guides.
• Shifts:

    • Friday 5:30-7:30 pm
    • Saturday 7:30-9:30 am
    • Saturday10:00 am-12:00 pm
    • Saturday 11:30am-1:30 pm
    • Saturday 1:00-3:00 pm

Greeters (male or female)- 17 needed

• Entrance greeters are our first impression makers!
• Smile and welcome guests.
• You will be close to a door so please dress appropriately.
• Shifts

    • Friday night 5:30-7:30 pm
    • Saturday 7:30-9:30 am

Lunch Resolution Table (female or male) – 2 needed

• Positioned by the gym and 300 level elevator, this team helps guests who want to switch their lunch room location.
• Need to be patient, not easily flustered. “we’re here to help” mentality.
• Shift: Saturday 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Lunch Room Hosts (female or male): 17 needed

• Moving between assigned lunch areas to kitchens to restock food and drinks and watch for seats that are open so they can help direct the people.
• Wipe tables when lunch is over
• Shift: Saturday 11:30 am-2:00 pm

Merchandise Table (female or male) – 24 needed 

• Selling merchandise at tables in the atrium.
• Shifts:

    • Friday night 5:30-9:00 pm
    • Saturday 7:30-11:00 am
    • Saturday 11:45 am – 2:00 pm
    • Saturday 2:15-5:00 pm

Photo Booth Aides (female) – 23 needed

• Manning entrance into room 218, taking guests’ photo booth tickets
• Help break down room 218 and put tables back in place after event
• Shifts:

    • Friday night 5:30 – 9:30 pm
    • Saturday 7:30-9:15 am
    • Saturday 1:30 am–2:30 pm

Ushers (female only) – 20 needed

• Greet people as they enter the auditorium.
• Answer any questions they might have.
• Shifts:

    • Friday night 5:30 – 8:30 pm
    • Saturday 7:30 – 10:30 am
    • Saturday 2:30-4:15 pm

Snack Table Hosts-(female or male) - 6 needed

• Set up and clean up the snacks
• Handing out snacks to the girls
• Making sure that the girls take a moderate amount of snacks
• Shifts:

    • Saturday 9:30-11:30 am
    • Saturday 1:30-3:15 pm

Setup Crew - (female or male) – 6 needed

  • Thursday 11/13
  • Help setup before Unveiled Event
  • Shift: 9:00am-12:00pm

Calvary is such a big place. I don’t know where to begin.

How can I get involved?

How can I get connected?

Do you ever feel that way? Whether you’re new to Calvary or you’ve been here for some length of time, we all want to be known, to be in relationships. Plus we all want to have value.

Some people are great at meeting people. They thrive on face-to-face encounters, while others shy away from people. It’s challenging for them to build relationships.

One of the best ways to get connected at Calvary Church is to serve on one of its many ministry teams. It’s nonthreatening. Everyone on the team is focused on a shared task whether it’s in children’s ministries, on the valet team or on one of the six tech teams. Rather than being face-to-face, team members serve shoulder-to-shoulder. And in the course of serving, relationships are formed.

For some people, they know where they want to serve, they know what their skills are and how they can be used at Calvary Church. For others though, it’s all too overwhelming. They don’t see how they can serve or how their particular skills can be used at Calvary.

That’s where Volunteer CONNECTion comes in.

Whether you’re brand new to Calvary or you’ve been here for a while, members of our Volunteer CONNECTion Team would be happy to sit down with you for a no-obligation chat.  We’ll take a look at a list of Calvary’s ministries; we’ll also take some time to help you determine the unique CONNECTion that God may have for you as a member of a Calvary ministry team.  Stop by the HUB  today or any Sunday (after services) to speak personally with a member of the Volunteer CONNECTion Team.

Pencil Team -

Looking for an opportunity to serve behind the scenes? With your family, perhaps? The Pencil Replacement Team gets together to restock auditorium seat racks with pencils and offering envelopes.  We are seeking many willing hands to serve as they are able, so give us a call! Caregivers' Day Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

Joni and Friends Greater Philadelphia and Calvary Church are looking for adult volunteers to serve ladies who provide care to their child or husband with a disability or special needs at the annual Caregiver’s Day of Pampering.

Volunteer opportunities abound to make an impact in the lives of women who care for a family member with disability on Saturday, November 1 at Caregivers’ Day of Pampering.
