INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK

IHN is a program designed to help the local homeless population by providing shelter, education, and transportation with the goal of helping them find permanent housing and employment. Primary clients are single women, with or without children, and occasionally married couples.

We talk about leaving our “fingerprints” by showing Christ’s love to others, in our church, neighborhoods, community, and around the world. We don’t have to travel abroad to be missionaries. We can do that by meeting the needs of others right here in our own neighborhood. Is God leading you to get involved?

IHN is collaboration between 32 local churches and Keystone Opportunity Center that provides shelter, education, and transportation for local homeless families with the goal of helping them find permanent housing and employment. Calvary has been asked to provide support again this year by partnering with a local church the first two weeks of September (1-15). Watch for details and signups in August.

There are opportunities for volunteers to serve in many ways including preparing meals, helping with homework, sleeping overnight, or providing transportation.
